I have spinal stenosis and lived with constant pain for more than a year. Months of chiropractic and acupuncture provided no relief, and neither did two epidural injections. The neurosurgeon I saw told me he should be considered my last resort, but even if he successfully operated, I'd be wise never to run again. But he also said he believed in physical therapy (and Aleve) and that I should try PT before committing to surgery. I was referred to Neurac Institute in Princeton, and the therapists there performed a miracle. After a few months of twice-weekly sessions, I was essentially pain free. A few months later, I started to run again and slowly increased my time and distance so that I'm now running once a week for nearly an hour......and I am still essentially pain free. The treatment for my stenosis and the guidance in returning to running I received from my therapists at the Neurac Institute has been outstanding.

I came to the Neurac Redcord center (Princeton, New Jersey) after being in two car accidents and my body could not find its way back to working normally. For months my back and abdominals ached and sometimes my pelvic muscles just didn’t “work” – at those times I found it difficult to sit up, stand up, or sit or lie down again once I’d gotten up. I also found it difficult to breathe. The muscles supporting the diaphragm were too weak to help it move and expand properly, so that I often felt as though I were drowning.
Over seven months I went to many therapists and bodyworkers in the Boston area, looking for one who would have the answer. Each one eventually told me they’d done everything they could for me.
Yet after just one Redcord session with Tyler (at the Neurac Institute), I could walk and breathe normally. At each subsequent session over the next week, I found it was easier to use my body to do normal tasks and all of the muscles that just didn’t “work” were suddenly working fine. After 5 sessions I am using the equipment at home. I am amazed at how simple and effective this therapy has been. Thank you!

“What 8 physical therapists in 5 years couldn’t do for me, Redcord did in 10 minutes! -
After a debilitating car accident five years ago, I went through rigorous physical therapy. While I had substantial physical improvement over this time span, there were certain things physical therapy couldn’t improve. Most importantly, I was completely unable to move my neck front to back and side to side. After one treatment on the Redcord apparatus, I was able to move my neck more than I have been since my accident. I’m a true Redcord believer.”

“Thank you so much for the opportunity to try the Redcord technology! After my treatment, I slept better than I have in literally months. For the first time in a really long time, I was not woken up in the middle of the night in horrible pain. I searched for a cure for almost a year and was feeling like I was never going to get better. I am hopeful that the muscles will stay "awake" so this good feeling continues. Thanks again. I am incredibly grateful.”

"The Redcord method of evaluation and treatment brings several key elements of professional practice to my centers. The first is (comprehensiveness) in that it provides a complete treatment platform for virtually any patient problem/diagnosis. Secondly, all exercises can be done in a small space with the same piece of equipment (Redcord) and on the same treatment table (efficiency). Patients can be doing either open or closed chain, short or long lever, weighted or un-weighted exercise formats (versatility). In contrast to alternative resistance circuits that require patients moving from one station to another, utilizing bands, balls and plates for resistance, the Redcord system is simpler and requires virtually no ambulation-other than initial transition onto the Redcord plinth-ideal for even wheelchair bound and otherwise incapacitated patients. Most importantly, the Redcord system provides an optimal environment for neuromuscular re-activation which we have been verifying using ultrasonography. Redcord is a cost effective method to achieve verifiable core and peripheral joint stabilization. It has been refreshing to use a system that fuels high patient motivation and typically ends with good clinical outcomes.
